Believe it when he’s eventually in a blue shirt if it happens. If it does think we have learnt from previous windows and looking to buy young players and actually build something here could be exciting times if we’ve unearthed some gems and hopefully frank and his team put something together that has some cohesion and want to play for the shirt not just here for paydays.

£9m is a cracking deal for us, bout time we done United over on a transfer
not too bad actually. we are taking risks on young players but trying not to pay over the odds. And it's not about getting wonderkids but just taking that gamble on certain young players. 9m isn't cheap but these days, 9mil is considered as a good deal. Before this, we would've shed out 20-25mil for Garner.

Idrissa and Garner for £17 million, Gbamin and Gomes were £45 mill.
I’ll go even further with that.

Tarkowski, Patterson, Onana, McNeil, Gana, Garner, Maupay as well as possibly Kudus and Chukwueze, Coady and Vinagre on permanent deals will cost us less than it did to buy Sigurdson, Bolasie, Tosun and Gbamin. In fact if you want to use players that barely played for Everton at all you can replace Sigurdsson with Klaassen, Delph, Gomes and Schneiderlin and you’ve actually got a much higher difference.

Of the previous players I’ve mentioned, across all of their years of being here they’ve roughly only got 250 ish appearances combined between them. In all likelihood if Coady, Tarkowski, Patterson, Gana and Onana play 30+ games and others like Garner, Maupay, Kudus and Chukwueze play only 20-25 then that’ll mean in a single season this group of players will have surpassed that number of appearances roughly speaking, despite most others having come in on 4 or 5 year deals.

That’s a shocking indictment on our past recruitment.

The Lampard factor.

Some really good business done this year.

If Gana + Garner come in...Kudus + Joao Pedro would be the icing on the cake.

Exciting few hours ahead.

Im guessing these are the two we will bring in.

That would be one hell of a squad overhaul.
They wont all be success's but if 80% of them are then we could easily be in the top 10 come May
