Garner was every bit as impressive if not more so than Gibbs White in the championship last season and look at the digits he’s just fetched. 8/9 million down with add ons is a bonkers deal which we’re the ones who have benefited for a change.

I can’t see Pedro or Kudus happening today or Chukwuze (why let a player you value at £45 million go on loan for a season first?). I think the most likely attacking options that would be available are Brereton Diaz, or if Chelsea get a striker a late loan for Broja.

I don't go for young fellas like some on here. I think he will be a marvellous addition to Lampards squad, he would more than likely have been
on Man Us bench this year, but due to their crazy buying there is no room for him. (It could be the start of something BIG).

I’m with you that it probably won’t happen, but remember Monaco let Mbappe go to PSG on a loan with an obligation. It’s a way to get around FFP, and is likely the reason why the price is £38m rather than £30m. You scratch our back, and all that.

Watched a Stretford Paddock (the old red devils cast) cast yesterday from the other week post their Brentford game. They where discussing transfers in and out etc.

To a mdn they where all guttedthst Garner was going and thought he should be playing ahead of Freda d McCrap.

General consensus was he was being sold as they can't shift their unwanted players as they're on 100k pw (Jones) and only ones people will play money for are they're young lads like Garner as they're only on 10k pw. So only way they can generate extra money is by flogging off good younger players coming through.
