Know a few United fans and they are all disappointed he's gone, which is usually a good sign
To add, the Forest correspondent was on Radio Merseyside last night and said they’re gutted that of all the signings they’ve made, he wasn’t one of them.

They wanted him early on but both he and Man U hadn’t decided whether or not he was staying so Forest thought he was going nowhere and moved on to sign the population of a small country.

I think the signings of both him and Onana in centre midfield are key, they are potentially a very good pair, lots of power and no small amount of skill there. The improvement in the midfield area has been incredible, we now have these two lads and Gana, Iwobi, Doucoure as very god options and Allan and Davies as injury cover, should they be needed. Allan and Davies, fitness permitting, were starters last season.

Is just a pity we couldn't have got another striker in, we really are gambling on Dominic Calvert-Lewin staying fit and recapturing his form and no serious injuries to Gordon, Grey or Maupay. An even break with injuries and we will be ok this season. If we can score a similar amount of goals as we did last season we will be fine, because, with the additions in midfield the defence will not be under the same amount of pressure, added to which, with Coady and Tarkowski added we look far more solid at the back.
What about this Cannon boy; can he step up?

….it didn’t take that long for Dave.

Looking forward to hearing his first interview, happy he‘s a lad from Birkenhead as he probably has a bit of attitude (apologies to any Birkenhead posters).
He has the weirdest accent. Quite unnerving. He’s like 75% Manc 25% Birko

One of the highlights of the window for me was Maupay and Garner binning Forrest to come here. Was on their forum the other day, they were going mad about our spending and FFP.
It’s such lazy cry baby behaviour from other fans.
Because a few less than reputable sources claimed we’d broken the rules every club we ever beat or get a player ahead of or fan that just doesn’t like us brings that up.

It’s been very clear for anyone to see that we’ve worked within the correct parameters which is why we haven’t made big money signings and have spread payments over multiple years each time we’ve spent anything over ten mil. Also for anyone who watched any referee performances against us under Frank last year they’d certainly know we’re not getting preferential treatment and if anything it looked like they’d have loved to throw the book at us and hit us with a points deduction or fine if we’d actually broken the rules.

My Man U colleagues think we have committed theft. They think he is excellent and are astounded they have let him go.
