Hear a lot of folk who watched him say he was one of, if not the, best centre midfielders in the championship last season and did well in his half season loan spell before that.

Kind of profile it would have been good to go for the season we added Doucourre and Allan, when we still had some decent quality in other areas of the team.

Might be a big ask for him to come into this team with so little quality in the front three and expect him to make a huge difference. Still, a change from seeing us linked with premier league plodders or relegated fodder.
