He’s better on the ball than McCarthy but McCarthy’s engine was something else.

Chased down their left winger from miles away late on in the 2nd half. Caught him as well.

…eh? He’s certainly faster than Barry (I’m 66 and faster than Barry) but he’s not a better passer of a football than Barry.

Played well today, very promising.

As @WalterBecker states, hes up there as one of the quickest.

@Eggs i dont think hes anything like Barry whatsoever. I see him as more of an Owen Hargreaves, athletic, physical, buzzes around, good all rounder and can take a set piece.

Othere have compared him with Carrick -- perhaps, but for me Hargreaves.

Something both players had over Barry was superior passing. I have high hopes for him.

was that sort of game you would have to be at to see all his work, him and gana both did alot of work at cm tonight. I would like him to be on the ball more but that can come after more time. Is a shame has missed out on alot of games.
