Every interview by any player or manager is cliché ridden, it is full of obvious statements and/or soundbites. I mean if you were a player and were asked the question what can you improve on, how many answers can you give. Work rate, fitness, goals, assists, there are maybe a couple more but every single one has been said a thousand times.

People get worked up when nothing is said and then get all worked up when something is said, it is the way of football.

I`m pretty sure, that they`re given " stock " answers, during their press and media training too.

Hard to tell where he’s starting though! Hes shown in a back four , presumably at right back, but also somewhere else shows him in midfield or RWB if Carsely uses a back three .

Everywhere I've checked has him starting at centre-back! lol We'll find out soon enough, I'm sure.

Playing RB in a back 4 if anyone wondering
Very interesting. Certainly looked comfortable there against Bournemouth, I guess if two managers are doing it it could be something that sticks. He's certainly capable but he's also got a bit of quality in the midfield that no one else we have does so hopefully him playing RB becomes a useful backup when needed but not his main thing.

Hope that doesn’t become a thing, give him game time in centre mid and let him develop there. Hate these “he can do a job at right back” shouts.
