thought he done ok overall, started a bit wobby but settled in to it. done a great tackle at the end to set england on the counter, but half a lung gordon was blowing and give it away

I don’t believe @davek is fishing here.

If Garner is a more reliable and competent right back than injury plagued Patterson then it is a no brainer.

As long as we bring in a midfielder to replace him.

Personally, I'd rather we brought in a decent established Right-Back. Mind you, we've been wanting that for God knows how many seasons now.
I wouldn't argue with that, tbh.

When Coleman retires next summer we'll definitley require one. Until then I'm happy enough with Coleman starting and Patterson / Garner filling in when the inevitable happens and Coleman is missing games through injury.

LB is the big defensive problem to solve now.

Not a chance? He's already played RWB but RB is "not a chance"...despite the fact he plays there for his country and besides the fact he's stated he'll play at RB if that's what Dyche wants?

"Not a chance".

Lol.

He played 1 full game for us there due to the fact everyone was injured and Holgate/Godfrey are pure pony.

He's also played the majority of his U21s as a CM and only just played at RB on 3 games in this tournament as they've only got 1 RB in the squad...and is probably better on the ball.

Iwobi has played more league games at RB than Garner.

We need an actual RB that's fit. It should be Paterson/new RB as 1st choice battling it out, Coleman 2nd.

Garner just like Holgate and Godfrey are "no other options"
