He and Onana were outnumbered in the midfield all game long. That we didn’t concede is a testament to both.

Was hard to work out why we lost the game in the central midfield so badly. I guess Doucoure doesn't drop back much to help out and maybe Danjuma also plays further forward than McNeil would have.

A good player who contributes positively now and still has plenty room to get better. For the fee paid he is exactly what Everton should be targeting in order to get out of this mess.
