The few times they have played together they have been really good and tbh I prefer it to Garner/Onana. I just think they make more of an 'engine room' type midfield whereas Garner/Onana is good but can be a bit ineffective at times.

That's because onana plays like he's to good to put a bit of graft in

He is hugely frustrating, you can see the talent he has and there are games where a player like him should be bossing the entire centre circle area but he rarely does. I have also never seen a player of his size and build go down so easily.

I'm a fan of garner. He's not perfect but he's the best we've got

Can see his talent ( not as much as pogba)

I like him does alot pressing winning the back would like him to get on the ball more and try long passes ect. Is something we need in midfield dont have a cm who can control

Paul Bracewell. Quietly effective and benefits the players around him more than grabbing game highlights himself

garner can play too but he can also graft. He goes under the radar a lot, does the dirty stuff, some nice stuff but always to a good standard.

I think Garner is the type of player you miss when he’s not playing, a proper team player, not interested in personal praise, as long as the team benefits he just gets on doing his job.

criminally underrated this lad, does a helluva job for us and he should walk into this United midfield but ten hag didn’t rate him. Good for us.

Good engine, gets around the pitch, tackles and never hides. Versatile and has skilful touch. Agree with @NathDogg that he’s underrated.
