Football isn't calm, collected and rational. If it was, none of us would be here, wasting our time on a forum about a group of multi millionaires kicking a ball around for billionaire owners in a billionaires league with the top teams owned by murderous regimes.

There's emotion involved, and with that you take the good and the bad.

The good is continually being stifled - VAR, points deduction, the cost of football, atrocious home form and football style for a prolonged period.

The bad is the frustration and what comes with that. If you can't understand where that frustration comes from and how it inevitably manifests, you lack understanding of the game.
I like the futility, and the escapism, only the escapism is into a realm much much worse than my day to day. And I thought I was depressed before I typed that. Geez!

They should be fed up with the PL not a team that has us mid table and comfortable...same old with Blues, always looking for the new fume.
No they should be fed up with the team the football is crap whether we’re on 30 or 20 points. They pay their money to be entertained some have to re arrange work or other family plans/commitments to make it to the game plus some travel from the other end of the country don’t give them anything to boo about and you’ll be fine James.

You're not allowed to be fed up with how we play or the fact we haven't won a PL game since the 16th Dec.

No I bit my lip and hoped for something better in the second half, it didn’t but in the end I was grateful for the point but still angry.
In the first half they played clap - I was heartbroken to see the tactics & then realise what a mess Dyche had made with his team selection - then not to make the three substitutes needed in the 2nd half - I felt sorry for the crowd having to watch us play ale house football in that 1st half ... still gutted - garner was a one midfield at times - till Onana & Harrison came on .....

Better he said nothing, silly comments with everything going on.

There isn’t much you can level at evertonians regarding support/booing considering the dross we’ve endured for 4-5 seasons.

In the main we turn up and get behind them, we did under Benitez, we did under Lampard and we do under Dyche.

Our fans have every right to kick off when a turgid performance is served up, if that’s means booing then so be it.

I like the lad, and think he’s been one of our better performers this season but there’s a hell of a way to go.

Get your head down and show us something on the pitch.
