Of course its not as black/white but if a evertonian cannot understand the frustration of the match going fans they're deluded, especially considering the performances at timesInteresting point this. Hadn’t thought of it like that.

The first half was terrible I agree but unfortunately its nowhere near the worst i've seen in years performances like that have been normal for us for almost as long as I can remember!I think it's fair to say that most are. That first half performance was abysmal mate and one of the worst I've witnessed in years. I think people are frustrated and struggle to contain it. I think then enticing those people publically probably isn't the best move.
Then why are you so bemused that match go-ers are frustrated with hoof-ball and hope to win 2nd balls vs a very poor Palace side?Mate I've been to more games than you've had Hot dinners...this type of post is a nonsense.
I wouldn't want to be booed by people who weren't qualified to do my job haNever understood that much how a professional footballer especially at Premier League level.......................probably in the top 0.01% of people in the country at that specific craft/job would get annoyed at big Neil & Yozzer yelling a few things at them! Surely you would be of the mentality that you know what your doing and the fella with a hot dog in his hands who can't see his feet doesn't know a thing about how to become a professional footballer
I feel the mood changed as soon as Palace got that corner which made us flap until half time. Pickford sliced the ball out and all sorts, it was shocking how quickly we panicked. To be fair to the Goodison crowd last night, the anger didn't start until it was clear it was a dreadful performance. The crowd didn't cause that dreadful performance, Dyche did with his selection and tactics.
Early on, I was actually impressed with the applause for passes back into our defensive third when it was appropriate to retain possession. I was thinking at the time how that hasn't always been the case.
Why are you bumused about our players asking fans to get behind them in the press? Then why are you so bemused that match go-ers are frustrated with hoof-ball and hope to win 2nd balls vs a very poor Palace side?
When was the last time you played Infront of 38,000 people who love to hate?
Maybe so.I feel the mood changed as soon as Palace got that corner which made us flap until half time. Pickford sliced the ball out and all sorts, it was shocking how quickly we panicked.
Mate i get what you're saying but booing the players won't solve anything in my humble opinion...just compounds the situation for me.I don’t think we do though mate … we have been so starved of anything our expectations are stupidly low .
You have to give the crowd something to react too.. tackles , shots even pressing and winning a throw in gets a round of applause.
But sitting on your hands watching players unable to play 3 forwards passes in a row for 55 minutes before going behind to a mangerless palace while we are apparently fighting for our lives , doesn’t really get the blood flowing does it ?

Keep acting like we're the worst fanbase mate, players should at least be able to string a couple passes together, it's not like we didn't have the space, they literally sat in that first half but we still conceded possession over and over, it is mainly down to the managers tactics, it was a embarrassing first half performance. Why are you bumused about our players asking fans to get behind them in the press?
