Lovely cross for the goal but overall was very disappointing. He seems to be going backwards at the moment but the squad we have means he cannot really be given a rest

Had to abandon his central position to usurp harrison on the right and show what a right footed cross can be. It's an absolute nightmare how hamstrung we are. Doesn't get let off for today, part of a midfield that was so far off the pace it wasn't even competitive.
He should be made to watch that third goal over and over again, like Alex in a Clockwork Orange but to the theme tune from Benny Hill. You had two chances to beat the first man, then scuffed a simple pass back to Gomes. I don't know why we have 8 players in the box but not a single one at the front post, but, anyway. Terrible

I genuinely feel sorry for him, the ball he put in for the goal shames every “winger” we have on the books or any of the current/ experienced full backs. Poor for the third goal but the game was already gone by then. Not the problem in this squad

The lad is 22 - yes, he is on big money for his age but he is currently playing with a bunch of misfits. Guarantee, he will settle in but needs players around him who he can relate to. Most are pretty clueless, I'm afraid!
