Why? You don't like skied shots and misplaced easy passes?

He's very Phil Neville going forward - no idea what to do with the ball.

I know it's not what he's mainly in the team to do, but it's mildly infuriating how someone who played champions league football in midfield for PSG until quite recently can be so ineffective on the ball

Surely you don't agree with him on this point:

Gueye has proven over the years (including at international level) that he's capable when he operates further forward

I'm a fan of Gueye doing what he does, and what he does involves absolutely nothing going forward

He isnt a defensive midfielder as he constantly presses. Onana on the other hand is indeed a defensive midfielder and should be used as the anchor in midfield.

Gana you can play as a CM/DM in the knowledge that he has limited positional sense but will run around pressing...

Onana doesn’t struggle with it, I just find that to be a poor excuse for poor play.

Garner is always making himself available for passes … onnana usually has him as an option to pass to if he needs it .

Trouble is , onnana likes to jog around the pitch at a snails pace thinking he’s pogba … which is not a type of player I would encourage him to copy .

And the worrying thing is he's basically had no game for 3 weeks yet just picked up where he left off which is slow, sideways football, poor set pieces and not standing up and being counted

Been so bad for quite a while now. Started the season well but offers nothing currently in the middle of the park.

There’s a good player in there but only if he is playing a decent side who have got someone else who can create.

His set pieces are shocking though!
