This is a McCarthy thread and Jags, Distin and others have also been pulled up about there lack of form so this is nothing out of the ordinary. The man is off form can you not accept that....its an observation and in here people are trying to discuss it and find out why he has dropped off. Average is exactly the right word. This goes right through the squad barring Mirallas, maybe Naismith.

I'm not getting the need to start another thread about him. It reaks of ' one season wonder ' i always thought it. Is McCarthy's average form so alarming that we have to make a thread and put him in the spotlight? More so than the likes of Baines and Coleman as examples.?

Why have you not addessed other players drop in form?

Mate I do not know what you are trying to imply. Is McCarthy your boyfriend or something because your defence of him is admirable if a little spooky. He is off form simple as that. He has not impressed simple as that. Yes other players form has not been great but this is an open thread about McCarthys form so if I choose to comment I can. Have a pop at the others who have said things that have seemingly offended you about McCarthy. He is off form...you have admitted it and nearly everyone else has and that's as far as it goes for me but obviously you want to drag it on like you are on a mission.

He is off form....that's it in a nutshell....accept it and let it go.
