It would seem most of this lot aren't that fussed on him. Probably mirror comments to a lot of ours last year.

"As good as player McCarthy is, I think we need someone a level above him. I would've taken him alongside Kroos or Fabregas"

Aye, good luck with that. I think United fans are in for a massive summer of disappointment if McCarthy is not considered good enough and are expecting the likes of Fabregas. We saw this type of talk with Liverpool when they weren't in the Champions League. I doubt they realise how expensive a season this has been for them.

Either way this is a non-story to me. I actually don't think we'll sell any of our stars this summer.

In all fairness if you're a side that's used to playing in the latter stages of the CL and going toe to toe with the likes of Madrid you do need to look for a bit more than mcCarthy has. The ability to score goals and create things is important at that level. Look at the likes of Busquets and Alonso. Both can pass the ball superbly.

Even Keane, the player people like to compare him to, scored lots of goals and could get forward well as a younger player.

I honestly think we need to get a nationwide rumour going that Osman is being touted by someone like United/Spurs, make it believeable that it gets coverage on the of the sh*t shows that are the dailymail and Sky Sports News

Baines, Jagielka, Mirallas, McCarthy, Barkley, Coleman, Howard, Stones.

The abovementioned players are the core of our team, I will not sell any of them, ever.
