Such a non story. Silly season is in full flight.

As a club I think we have to stop being bullied by other clubs and in the media.
Clubs with bigger money chests, higher financial clout and influence. Journalists and media agencies with agendas

But Baines did actually want to leave. We just said no. Anyway it doesn't matter, I would love to keep McCarthy, I think we would keep McCarthy but if he goes then he's on a long deal and we would get a good price and it's not like we don't have cover for that position. Whatever happens happens.
 
I swear Martinez stated that McCarthy would be a great Everton Captian someday? I get the impression he's going to be with us for the long haul tbh :)
 
People need to chill out, he states in the same article twice that he loves it here. The headlines about "McCarthyopen to Man U move" don't even reflect what he actualy said. He never once confirmed he wanted to go there. He had an excellent season for us but if you think United are going to come after him after one season at the top end if the table think again. They are rebuilding and want star names. James will be here for a while yet

IIRC it was Stubbs who came out and said he definitely wanted to leave or gubbins like that.

In terms of fume, anyone else wish that SkyBet would do one, they've now got Mccarthy at 1/3 to join United.

Be a ridiculous move for him, obviously Roberto wouldn't want to see it happen, the board on the other hand.

Hope United have another rotten season.
