reading through that redcafe forum and there opinion of mccarthy and martinez makes me realise there are some real negative people on this forum.

To be honest, the fact that some of them rate McCarthy over Fellaini just makes me realise that a good portion of Manc fans are pretty special in the head.

My prediction is McCarthy will be out of the side by Xmas or his place taken by a new January signing as Bobby will accept defeat as with Kone and as Brenda with Allen/Borini.

He's accepted defeat over Kone without him starting a league game. Ace, he can be Martinez's Per Koldrup. Tell us o far sighted one, what else does the future hold?

My prediction, and forgive me for my language. Is that you are a massive, massive. Bellwhiff.

Comments like those are so stupid people writing players off before theyve played a minute of football for us is a joke.

McCarthy is like custard to apple crumble when it comes to talent. He's the mushy peas to my chips, the gravy to my chicken fried rice and the satay sauce to my stir fry.

Can't understand why people won't giver him a chance.
I didn't really want him but now that he is an Everton player we need to support him and give him the benefit of the doubt.

At least let him get through half a season before deciding for yourself

Have you just copied my post?

There should be a disclaimer next to the redcafe endorsement. Most of those posters are Irish. Like others have said, it's basically irrelevant what he's done in the past or on international duty. All that matters is how he does for Everton going forward, and under Martinez we'll hopefully see him flourish.

I always wanted him and I am sure he will go on to be a great Everton player. People need to learn to trust the manager.

Did anyone on here ever see Paul Bracewell play?

He was the oil in the engine.

Not fast but determined.

Hardly ever in the final third but effective.

Sometimes the most important players are hardly noticed until they're not there.

That will be McCarthy's role I reckon.

The tragedy is that some people just don't get it and want 10 Ross Barkleys in the outfield.

Redcafe you say?
