James McCarthy

IMO he will end up a very good signing/player for us. No he may not end up being a world beater like many expect him to be due to a 13M fee, but if he spends 10yrs here, with minimal injuries, as even just a good to very good player it will be great business. His lower wage demands over foreign counter parts chip away at that fee anyway.

And to say he can't improve because he's already played a couple of yrs of PL football with a ****e Wigan side is ridiculous.

What do our fans expect for 13 million, a skilful young player can cost a lot more then 13 million, but James played in a position which we needed.

Barcelona nearly signed McCarthy when he was at Hamilton as did Liverpool, so don't just write off his playing style because his name isn't Joao Maresca. Very good young player who has had four years of regular premier league football. He will be a great signing. I reckon the Barry-McCarthy partnership will be outstanding once it has gelled properly in a month or two.

Would they be interested in a swap deal plus what´s left of the Fellaini money for Deulofeu?

Here was me thinking Evertonians had a bit more about them than to dismiss a player after only 20 minutes in the Royal Blue or in Barry's case proclaim the second coming. They have literally been here a week, give them at least a month!

I have noticed that we simply keep the ball better with James in the team. He should star over Osman.

Osman is pure ****e, really is.

I actually think he lost the ball about 5 times at start of second half and took the easy route to get off the pitch when realising he was out of his depth!

The penalty doesn't matter, it happens to the best of them, very similar to Barkley's a few years back.

More important is how he broke up play today and kept the ball moving. MUCH better than his Chelsea cameo today.

A good post to read that mate, it shows your not just focusing on the negatives and want the lid to succeed, and fair lay for saying it

Dunno what is it about him but both times he has come on now imo we have turned the game around and looked far more likely to score, last 20 v chelsea and second half today, im not a believer in coincidence either so pretty sure the team a a whole just seems to benefit from him being their

seperate point is how ****ing good is the link up play between mirrales and lukaku, frightening at times
