I'd mind less if he was attempting to get the ball forward and to tackle and intercept but he isnt really

Seems very limited about what he can do will have to add some more strings to his bow inho or I think Koeman will dump him

So once in his life.



He's shown his limitations his entire career. We're supposedly wedged up now , bin him and bring in an actual footballer, who can do more than just run around like a headless chicken

FWIW I have nothing against McCarthy - I think his energy and pace in midfield could still work under Koeman. It's his lack of positional awareness and mediocre quality on the ball that are the issues

I see him as the understudy to Gueye in the current setup - we still need a Barry replacement/understudy though

Davies has got an incredible future but he looked more like a number 8 to me than a ball-winning defensive midfielder

only seen what you would have, end of last season and pre season. hes incredible, so confident and composed on the ball. would love to see him link up with roos at some stage this season
