He's not good enough on the ball to be anything other than a DM

...it looks like RK wants much more from his DMs than just defending. Last season McCarthy and Barry got nose bleeds if they went over the half-way line, it looks like RK expects them to be more expansive. I get the impression McCarthy didn't like the restrictive role imposed on him by RM but it's now up to him to demonstrate he has more to his game. A few seasons ago he set up a goal for Lukaku (it might have been Chelsea at home) so he might have greater dimension to his game.

Jimmy Mac hasn't been right since that Gooners game in El Loco's second season. Two up and coasting, Macca stopped running in the seventy something minute, Everton stopped competing and the game was beyond us. The rest, they say, is geography. And he has not been fit since.
The 'phenomenal' one played him whenever he could, despite him being unfit and unprepared, whenever he could, and basically robbed the team of a player.
This op is long overdue, and hopefully we get the original James back playing for us.

Liverpool City Council and Everton have denied claims by the city's mayor that a new stadium for the football club is "closer than it’s ever been".

Joe Anderson wrote on Twitter that the stadium was "closer now than it was last month" and hinted at a location when asked by a site user by using the phrase "the Moore the merrier" - which may be a reference to Bramley Moore dock.

So maybe it's the club do what they want when they want? Or if they feel they need to? It's just us fans that get swerved.

I wouldn't mind switching him in for some of the easier fixtures, especially if he has gana next to him as I'd want him ready for when barry declines (if barry doesn't outlast him lol)

I'd rather we try and get through our "easy run" of fixtures coming up with maximum points. Get Davies experience in cup games for now. Also, Barry seems to be immortal.
