For too long we've had this obsession with having two defensive midfielders in the side no matter the opposition.

Yeah, think so if same incident I'm thinking of. He slipped and it led to them countering for the Sigurdsson free kick that Stek saved.

Which wouldn't have been in such a dangerous position if the thick git had just pulled him back about 15 yards earlier and took the booking.

Today confirmed to me he is not a first 11 player. As someone else said seeing him alongside Gana emphasised how nondescript he is. Decent bench sitter for emergency cover that's about it.
