Get well soon James. Hopefully he will take some inspiration from the recoveries of both Coleman and Bolasie. At least he's young enough to still have a decent back-end of his career in the game when he returns.

That's probably the peak of his career over, certainly at the top level.

Hope he recovers as quickly as possible.

His peak lasted for one season and he barely can stay fit and was below average for another four seasons at the club. By the time he makes the full recovery he will be 29. £13m in 2013 was ridicious amount of money paid for him.

He's such a physical player though. THAT is his game: hurtling around without a thought for his own well being.

He's very brave, but I think he needs to adapt to have a future in the game.

In today's market, £13m is small fry, especially considering the money we have spent on some players over the past twelve months. Give it a rest, now is not the time to debate James' market value.

Yep, a bit like with Besic, if you play that sort of game, you are going to attract injuries.

Coverage of ground is his attraction for managers. I dont think they're asking him to fly into challenges. He has to learn to stay on his feet and just shepherd players away from danger areas. If there's a 50-50 then stay on your feet and be ready to avoid contact.

I feel so sorry for him, but he if he takes stock and reconfigures his game plan he can come back and play for another 4/5 seasons.

Had he not gone into this tackle, Rondon was in on goal. He had to do it.

And it came from Schneiderlin - who should have been turfed off at half-time - giving the ball away under pressure, from all people, Barry.
