If we could somehow manage to sell 3 or 4 of:
Bernard (27, £120kpw),
Sigurdsson (30, £100kpw),
Walcott (31, £100kpw),
Delph (30, £90kpw),
as well as Schneiderlin (30, £100kpw),
we could actually sign all 3 of:
Allan (29, £60kpw),
Doucoure (27, £70kpw),
Rodriguez (29, £180kpw)
And at the same time, reduce the average age of the squad, as well as reducing the monthly wages (based on what they are currently earning. I would assume there may be a slight increase in Allan and/or Doucoures salary, and maybe we would negotiate a small drop in Rodriguez. Ideally, you would like to keep all 3 below £90kpw, but that's not going to realistically happen).
Any sale of Sandro, Tosun, Bolasie, Besic, etc, would save additional wages.
I would like to think we are looking at some younger options as well though, as this would leave us pretty threadbare in the midfield department, unless we are planning on using the U23s as direct understudies.

Exactly! The plan is that Carlo gets in some lads he trusts who trust him and then needs to transform Everton into something that top quality players will still want to play for after he move on. I am 100% sure that Allan and James wouldn’t have joined Silva’s Everton which is why Carlo must be backed! This is our chance to be great again!

Was rumoured months ago he just wants to play for Carlo. So wouldn't be surprised if he took a drop in wages. Not saying a huge drop but he won't be on Madrid wages

Players also like to join teams (I would think) that would be competing for, and winning trophies?

Until I see him with an Everton scarf round his neck matty...
He’s won trophies in Spain and Germany and isn’t quite at the level to play first team for a Man City/PSG type right now so I would imagine he wants to play every game for the next few years for a manager he trusts will back him at the very highest level (premier league)
