I think with the new sponsors, they’d push for a known player to also give them exposure in the world. It won’t be long before Cazoo is global, they’ll have a business model / 5 yr plan and would be asking Q’s of EFC. We don’t have euro footy to generate additional revenue or club exposure so only way is through a big name player and media. I imagine along with Mina more of our games may be shown in Columbia and the like. If JR happens it will be a wider business decision. Just need to see past wages and “resale” value, which I know a lot on here are really hung up on.

If we’re a team who has players like Allan, James, Richarlison to come and play with then suddenly we’re not going all out for Iwobi because nobody else wants to come, we’ll be far more appealing for players who aren’t quite at the elite first team level but far above what we have.
