did he not also pour cold water on our chances of getting ancelotti ? You know just to keep his hit ratio something akin to Stuart Barlow through one on one .

It’s so bizarre. You’d think after being proved totally wrong on a number of occasions he’d just keep quiet. If this transfer does complete he’ll look an absolute fool.

I’m not naive enough to think that there’s zero chance all these moves won’t come off but really it’s tiresome when he comes out with this stuff constantly. Wait and see what happens I guess.

Yes I appreciate your comment, not saying it shouldn't be careful spending, just that people are obsessing with ffp and not spending specific money on essentially players that will improve us. Sometimes when your chasing big aims you have to pay up unfortunately but I agree on buying crap, don't think this duo would replicate the koeman/Walsh car crash personally.

I mean I hate us sometimes as well but mine manifests itself by banging my seat up when I storm out the ground , slamming doors at home , bitting my lip and drinking too much . Lad hasn’t got to be a whopper about it.

Given the recent punishments being handed out in relation to breaching FFP you’d be amazed if the owner didn’t just say stuff it and back Carlo up for this season. There will be a few big earners off the books when their contracts expire next year and the potential to sell Richarlison next summer if we don’t kick on.
