Eh?Dominic and Richie both got fifteen last season, but James’s figures are not bad, not great really though.
are you serious? He’s had a hand in 29 goals in 46 games.
that is great.
and he’s been consistently at that level for his career.

There's something about him that Carlo likes. He's taken him to 2 other clubs and i read he wanted him at Napoli as well. He'd be the closest thing yet to a proper Marquee signing.
You have to wonder why he wasn’t played, like Bale, last season, his figures at Bayern, over two seasons, were not bad but nothing really inspiring to be honest, and that is playing for a top team with good players all around him, he won’t get that at Everton. Was great for Bayern when fit 2017-19, didn't play that much last season for Real Madrid.

Bayern are one of the mega clubs. They can bin off James and go and buy the best emerging talent from around the world. We can’t compete for those players so we need to take risks to improve the team.Bayern choose not to sign him -- despite liking him -- for the benefit of long-term development of their younger players. Those younger players then go on to help them with the CL a year later.
For us it's even riskier: we can't afford failed large signings like the top clubs in Europe (whether it's because of injuries or failing to adapt); we need resale value to bridge that gap; and it's easier for us to embed youth in our team.
I'm not against a couple of older signings at the right price and in the right positions, like Allan. But for James I think I'd only be happy with it on loan or at a heavily discounted fee.
True, Pabb, but his assists were only average to be honest. If he comes I’ll welcome him, even send him “ get well cards” when he is in the sick bay, with about ten others, all discussing where they are going to buy their mansions when they retireDont forget though, he is not a striker.
Those stats I quoted were in the bundesligaWon’t know until he’s here, but as a regular watcher of Spanish football, the standard is very poor.
Im excited for the signing, but dont let his figures be skewed by the fact he’s faced the equivalent of QPR most weeks in Leganes, Eibar and Osasuna.
