Who is signing Iwobi mate?

James stays = always injured = Iwobi plays

James goes = we sign a good replacement who isn't always injured = Iwobi stays where he belongs on the bench.

who is this good replacement that we’re going to buy for all that money we’re going to get for James who has 12 months left on his
Contract?

And why would they want to sign for a mid-table team who have done nothing of note for a quarter of a century??

Intrigued to know…

That’s why Benitez went out and bought Gray and Townsend they are quick and can cross, Heading DCL best asset also Richarlison is decent in the air. Last season trying to play though teams at snail pace with Sigs, Gomes and James (at least James can pick a pass but not really often enough) the slow pace was so painful to watch. We need to hit teams on the break and fast wingers help that massively, I like have James here but in reality he’s style doesn’t really work enough to warrant what he gets paid a d the amount of games he plays (which as we know isn’t many)
He played one less game last season than Jack Grealish.

It's alright having pace in the side - btw, Townsend does not have pace anymore and hasn't for 2-3 seasons - but then nobody that can find those players?

We have zero midfielders who can pick a forward pass, other than James and a guy who we currently do not know what is going on with.

The physicality and pace of the league is massively different to the 80's mate.

Thrse days you need athletes as well as technically good players.

We are crap because we get out paced, out worked and out bullied every single game.

Staying as we is folly we are not a functional PL side these days and James isn't the difference between 7th and 10th never mind 4th-6th.

Also keeping James guarantees half the season of Iwobi starting games...

How about we sell Iwobi for the £10m we'd get for James?

We would post a loss on the books mate which we can simply not afford to do this summer.

If you want that shiny RB & RW James is the only one that can get them unless PSG have a sudden change of heart over Kean.

And how many did he miss in comparison to Grealish in the last 3-4 seasons mate? lol

He didn't play for us before last season mate.

As I've said, have James and better players to alternate with him.

The solution should never be bin off your best player, unless you have other good players in said position.

We don't have other good players. Our midfielders quite literally can't pass.

It's wages (£80k) and a fee off the books.

We'd get £10m fee tops for James. He's on £30-40k more than the boy Iwobi, and has more talent in his little left toe than Iwobi has full stop.

Then Brands should do his job and get a player who can offer what Iwobi offers (which isn't much) and not pay £28m for them.

All ifs and buts mate. The reality is no one wants our trash.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to offer people Iwobi for £15m. Might get £10m for him then. And Brands can just be ruthless and cut our losses rather than hanging on as if he hasn't made a mistake with the signings.
