We’re all different and can enjoy different aspects of the game.

Gawd knows my posting history shows I’m not shy at offering my comments during a match lol but I’m a data nerd at heart and so after a good game I enjoy looking at various stats, pass maps etc just as much as match highlights.

I find they enrich the experience for me - helping me see what one player had done who I might have overlooked whilst either sleepy/chatting bubbles/concentrating on a different player or being able to put in context one who I got unduly annoyed about because of a howler so distorted their overall performance.

I appreciate they aren’t for everyone and can be overdone but I get a kick out of them anyway!
Weirdo xx

Is anyone else annoyed by his 82 Fifa 21 rating. Well lower than Alli, Matip, Moutinho and even Dubravka!
Hopefully they’ll be adjusting that for next year!

84 Digne is nice to see though.
It's a big part of why i only ever play career mode. Edit the stats ( without going overboard) and play with custom squads. The rs get a well deserved downgrade too

James Rodriguez has been directly involved in six goals in his five games for Everton in all competitions this season (3 goals, 3 ssists), double his return from his 14 appearances for Real Madrid last season (1 goal, 2 assists).
If we were to also count two pre-assist, then he has actually been involved in 8 goals.

His record in Madrid last year was really bad only because Zidane didn't play him and relegated him to the bench. Otherwise his numbers would have been much different.

From a pure technique level, I thought there were some mistakes in this game and the last one versus West Ham. Don't know if its the weather, or playing 3 times in one week or even if he's had no one at his level challenging him, probably a combination of all these things.

A couple of things that really impressed me yesterday - he has incredible composure. He knows he'll get marked out at certain points of the game, but he plays what the defence gives him and never really forces anything, and he's so decisive in punishing mistakes. He's just waiting for one or two openings to kill the game. Look at the third goal, he went from defending to counter attacking so fast.

This transfer has worked out well for everyone and you can see it on the pitch. Sometimes you might get a superstar coming into the team and doing it for themselves. I think all the other players can see what a talent James is straight away, and that he sat on a bench for 2 years and that he's deservedly getting a chance to play. In the 5 games James has been so unselfish on the pitch setting his other teammates up, not just goals, but setting them up for assists. Yesterday's fourth, Doucoure could easily have taken a shot but pulled it back. They know James has given a lot to the team, and they're giving it back. And I think they know if James drags Everton up the table, everyone at the club wins.

Also my James shirt finally arrived. :)

Can't they adjust it with an update during the season?

Beautiful to watch mate. I'm 43 ffs and watching the match again whilst the wife and kids are asleep lol

Its the Everton side we've wanted for so long. Early doors and lots of challenges along the way but ffs what a boss start 7 games 7 wins

Talk of records, back to this year, that year. Records are there to be broken and new ones set. Long may we ride and enjoy.

Keeps this up and he's a shoe in for the PFA team of the year...along with a few others.

Could even win player of the year.

I think he was the type of signing that we needed. Even if he isn't quite the player he was he is still a cut above most players. Also means teams can't double mark Richarlison as we have another top class player. Needs to be looked after as no doubt teams will try and injure him.

I can't find the words that do this fella justice - he is world class, end of.

I am devastated that we can't be at Goodison and the away grounds to watch this man pull the strings in the royal blue jersey - I could watch him play the beautiful game all-day.

The touch/pass/interception, which he meant, to set up a goal was incredible and has not had enough coverage in the media - improvisation and skills you can't teach!

I also don't think the media have given him enough kudos for how fast he has settled and tore into the league - you can see they are devastated with how well James has started, after practically everyone called him "finished", and also how well we are doing - I hope he and the boys keep giving two fingers to the pundits all season.

Arriba los caramelos!
