He’s only on a two year contract. He’s very gifted technically but lacks pace. I’d rather a ride sided Richarlison at RW than James Rodriguez, tbh.

Have to disagree...with the right support he can. Problem is you can't lose two players in an effort to assist another; not in this league. Especially out wide.

This league is the issue for him. We cant afford to 'support' him every week when injuries and suspicions will hit us.

The PL is frenetic. I'm almost sure Ancelotti will protect him from overuse. He knows it's false economy playing a player of his nature week in week out. Ancelotti's hand was forced with Richarlison's absence, but I doubt he'll do this again and play a James who's struggling with muscle fatigue.

We'll just have to adapt.

Another striker in January is imperative.

I qualified what my point was. It was originally that I hoped he wouldn't be rested too often because we cant afford it; but the point about him being rested by the manager was made.

I had no issue with the comment, it was how you framed it that was a bit snide, so no wonder people where having a go at you. I’ve learnt from previous encounters not to bite when your yanking people chains.

If he felt ready to play, you play him...a-typical hindsight posts going on. Main issue is lack of threats around him makes him easy to mark. Godfrey having a CB mindset and Iwobi's apparent World Class ability to shut down momentum on the other side conspired against him in the worst way possible. Team game...

Stop it, blaming Iwobi for James is really clutching. The lad was poor for whatever reason but not because of Iwobi. The lad can’t defend and today he needed to, end of story. When we’re on top he is and will be a delight
