I was more thinking what Ancelotti said mate after his injury against the rs and it took him a while to get back to sharpness and it was only when we played Burnley he was training at full tilt.

I just think it may be a game too soon.

Richarlison has been absolutely crap for sure but Iwobi done a great job again.

Tonight needed discipline and tactics were spot on. Leicester away is another tough game and if he is fully fit for sure he goes straight back for me but if not stick him on the bench.

Right point I'm making is that for us right now that recipe is a bit hard to get. Think we should still be going into games thinking about scoring a couple even though we did finally get the clean sheet tonight.

I think he needs to play as a 10. Go same starting 11 with Hames for Sigurdson (harsh given how well he did tonight) and just give Hamez free reign. Let him float around and pick up those second balls from Dom. Playing him on the right is ace going forward but there are glaring holes at the back when they counter. Iwobi has done really well on the right these last few games and with Holgate behind him they kept a very productive chelsea left side quiet today.

Hopefully the win and a clean sheet gives them a boost mate.

I don't think it does all that much to be honest. Sigurdsson basically played as a 10 today but with James playing there that position gets pushed further up the pitch which will help us on the counter. He's a world class player and by far our most creative outlet so we have to accommodate him in the side. Iwobi and Holgate did fantastically well against a good left side today so dont think you disrupt that going into Leicester. Godfrey and richy also pick themselves so the only position James plays is Sigurdssons spot.

Siggy doesn't defend better than James and offers a lot less defensively.

Today was the result of a good and needed team effort.

We're more balanced when we actually have two wide players out wide who track back and help the full back.

As I said all summer James in the centre with someone with the output/goal threat of Zaha out on the right and this team would be in the top 4 spots no doubt about it.

Go out in January and throw £50 million at Palace and get him in.

Zaha plays on the left more often than not. He is a good player who can play on the right but it would probably be a better idea to get a player on the right who plays there all the time.

It amazes me how many of our own fans have fallen for this James doesn't track back nonsense.

Its one game, a game where we played well but they hit the post twice and we won with a penalty. It's not a sign of anything we just turned up last night.

We also turned up when we won 7 on the trot at the start of the season when James played all those games.

Stop falling for this he needs to defend more stuff, he doesn't and he tracks back plenty any way.

He is a great player but if the whole team fails to turn up which it basically has the past few weeks then its going to be hard for him to work miracles.

HamRod likely out for the next two games minimum.

Seems like he's carrying an injury and they're trying to give him time to get fit. Right now he's more or less been out since the derby, knowing that he hasn't been able to perform in the games since then due to the foul that was made on him.

One concerning quote from the press conference "he's starting his individual rehab today" - that doesn't sound like a minor concern to me.

Makes me feel like a fraud for idolising false prophets in years gone by.

Just hope we can keep him fit...

It would be a result if we can get 75/80% of games out of him.

Would also help if his teammates and the club were a little more protective/caused a fuss when he gets clattered every game.
