If he plays 50% of the season and plays really well when he does, that's more prefarable than if he plays 80% of the seasoon and is largeley anonymous.

We have to accept James was more than likely signed with that type of calculation in mind.

Supposedly he'll be back for Man City, the club have said the rumours of it being to cold for him to play are ridiculous, the club have also said they have a new Everton match day shirt for him to wear but are waiting for Hummel to sew on new badges etc.

The extra year on his contract is triggered by playing a set number of games if I remember correctly. Not sure what that exact figure is though.

But, yes, I think everyone knew of his injury history before he got here, but with players like James (Even Thiago for that lot across the park) it's worth the missed number of games compared to other players for the sheer influence he has on the games he does play.
Even in games he has looked quiet in, he's still usually ends up directly involved in the goals we score.

We look less of a defensive unit when he plays, but I'd take that for certain matches when we have to break a team down.

It seems home is Liverpool because his family is not currently in Colombia celebrating as they usually do. By looking at their pics in Instagram, his mom and sister are in town instead. This pic was taken just 5 days ago.

It really sucks that James still injured and that he is not able to shine with the team during this busy period. But I wish people stop spreading rumors that are unjustified. He is not partying in Colombia, enjoying some nice warm weather with family and friends. Instead the reality is that he is in Liverpool still recovering from an injury.
