Still expect him to play his usual game, even if the rest of the teams not on his wave length. We would all be happy if he was consistently attempting to play progressive football but he just bottles it once someones left a boot in on him, hides the entire game and looks for the next tackle to sub himself off.

No. You find a way and a system to fit a player of his quality in. We had three midfielders on the pitch today who looked scared of the ball and didn't pass forward once they're a bigger issue.
