He was loving it at the end.

He clearly isn't into it and can't stand the cold weather in England. English Everton players walking around bundled in coats after the game...meanwhile the kid from Tolima is doing this after the game...

Today is not the time to pile in on Sigurdsson, that's not what I'm doing. He did his own job today and didn't let us down. He took his pressure penalty well at a crucial moment in the game.

This is an appreciation, as it should be, of James Rodriguez.

That pass... THAT is what a number 10 is there for.

He played the ball in to Richarlisons path instantly, instinctively, exactly where Richarlison wanted and needed it, perfectly weighted and perfectly timed. He played it the wrong side of the defender which absolutely bamboozled him. He did it early. He did it after plucking the ball out of the sky and killing it dead, all in the 1 motion. It was majestic.

He didn't take 6 touches, he didn't look up or look round, he didn't need to. He didn't play it directly into Richarlison's feet as he ran so he had to stop or check back. He didn't under hit it, or over hit it, which gives the defenders a chance. It is exactly what we have needed for so long. A difference maker.

It was so simple, but it was the sort of simple that very few are capable of.

Different class.

After all the commentary moaning about the wind James had no problem reading the flight of the ball to take it down either
