I would guess that he doesn’t know what he’s going to do until we get a new manager. If a high intensity pressing coach comes in then he’ll want to get rid of half the team with James top of the list, if a no mark coach comes in then chances are James will go if there are opportunities elsewhere but if we get another top level coach who has a place for James I don’t see why he wouldn’t stay for one more season. He was only on a two year deal with an option for extension so what’s he got to lose?Big fan of his but he should probably let the team know what he wants to do.
Little point holding on to him if he's just going to kinda "be here" next year and not turn in 100%. There are enough players like that already.
