Big fan of his but he should probably let the team know what he wants to do.

Little point holding on to him if he's just going to kinda "be here" next year and not turn in 100%. There are enough players like that already.

I would guess that he doesn’t know what he’s going to do until we get a new manager. If a high intensity pressing coach comes in then he’ll want to get rid of half the team with James top of the list, if a no mark coach comes in then chances are James will go if there are opportunities elsewhere but if we get another top level coach who has a place for James I don’t see why he wouldn’t stay for one more season. He was only on a two year deal with an option for extension so what’s he got to lose?

Neither do I it's not his fault Ancelotti left, but I do think Rodriguez will go as soon as, as the only reason he came here in the first place, was Ancelotti.

Idk, as others have mentioned here I think it will depend on who is the new manager and what are their plans for James. This is not the first time that Ancelotti has left after James joining him at a team. Ancelotti was gone the second year James was at Madrid, same with Bayern and now here at Everton. In each scenario James stayed with the team and didn’t follow Ancelotti right away.
