Sure, but if the manager that we hire is someone he feels will give him confidence and will take him into account then he may stay. We are really James best option at the moment, I don’t think too many teams are willing to pay his wages next season given his history with injuries.

Personally, I just don’t see him sticking around. Regardless of whether Ancelotti wanted to be here or not, it’s clear he was the main drawer for James to come to Everton.
I know nothing about him as a person, but will it affect his ego, if he’s managed by any of the names linked? Especially knowing a team on the Champions League can probably take a risk on him?

I really don’t seem him getting signed by an European team but maybe I’m wrong. If he does leave it would probably be to come here to play in the US.
At least hope we can recoup some of the cash we have bled for him.
This would be my guess if he does go. I guess (fitness permitting) he is pretty bulletproof in terms of getting in the Colombia team for the 2022 World Cup so doesn’t really matter where he plays. Inter Miami would surely be a great fit if they can afford him
I think any fee would be small as he only has a year left on his contract and is on big wages. I feel like if he wants to go we should just let him and free up the money. I’ve loved him being here and he is clearly incredibly talented but it’s not a long term thing so might be best to just cut our losses
