Hope this negativity towards him turns after a game or two. The man is a magician. Complaining about the injuries we all knew he would get now is kinda pointless. Everton with him as an alternative is a lot better than Everton without him. Shouts to get rid are wild to me.

He looked happy in the video and he has said he was happy to stay already. Maybe he wants somewhere he can play his football and be appreciated and loved. Some players like being the big fish in the small pond and it suits them.
I also think the Benitez beef has been so massively over played by some. Benitez was there for 6 months before he was sacked, which had more to do with the owner than anything else, and we know he is hardly the ultimate source of reason. And while he was there, James played most of the games he was fit and available for. Moyes actually ended up suing Rooney for what he wrote about him in his book, and they made up and worked together again. If there was anything in it, and it was 6 years ago, you would like to think that they will have spoken before now, especially if Benitez has been assessing and contacting the players individually, as is suggested by Pickford.
It's in Benitez and Evertons best interests to make it work, and I like to think its in James best interests as well. Somewhere he can settle in and be the main man without some of the pressures that come along with certain other clubs might be just what he needs.
