From a fan perspective I would be too. I want to see him playing in a couple of weeks along with Mina and the other squad members.
Off to AC Milan supposedly. Big shame most of us never saw him play at Goodison.
How do we know where he wants to be?There's little benefit to keeping him if he doesn't want to be here either.
He'll be 'injured' a lot, let's put it that way.
I hope those of us attending the Florida Cup have such a luck but even without James I’m super thrilled to get the opportunity to watch Everton play in person for the first time ever, and them playing against a Colombian team, even though is not one that I followed, is the cherry on top of the cake.I've accepted that I'll probably not get to see him play, I think most UK-based Evertonians had by the end of last season if he was to leave.
So at least you guys over there might!
But yes, keeping James - as well as for footballing reasons - makes sense on a lot of other fronts.
We aren't exactly in the good books with our fanbase now, and rightly so. I don't trust the leadership one bit, I think they're a mess, and that includes Brands.
So, keeping James is at least a bit of good PR when it really is needed and, in the meantime, he just happens to be an excellent player.
Or for some of us the right turnWell it looks like he took the wrong turn then
