Supposedly we're haggling over the transfer fee mate. his club want the £20k transfer fee we've offered up front but because of FFP we've offered the £20k over 4 years.

a quick back of an envelope discounted cash flow analysis suggests use of money 'savings of up to £200 (I used a 2.5% discount rate) if we can amortise that transfer fee over 4 years...it's certainly an amount large enough to haggle over!

The issue is your limiting Doucoure here.
Townsend protects to an extent as he drops deeper to allow Doucoure to roam and that is something that James simply won't do.
I don't fancy that team against teams who are playing five in midfield and outnumbering us by two or three.

Where does he play when he's fit? A nice trinket to come off the bench for sure but 200k p/w wages is cringeworthy, and a sting only the pre Benitez post Moyes Everton of old would succumb to. Give him to Marine as a token of Merseyside solidarity

Tremendous thread this has been lately. Work demands dictate my only flitting in and out intermittently and so I apologise if some of my postings might initially appear somewhat abstruse. But I think we are all now up to speed on things regarding James. I will be keeping a close eye on Ocean Liner Cruise services departing liverpool for Israel immediately after the Burnley game...that's the boat that James will be on!
