He handles him like I'd handle any of my kids who were being a bit spoilt. Take away their nice things. Playing football is a nice thing for a football player. Show commitment in training and stop with "I'm not even sure who Everton are playing" kind of comments and maybe, just maybe, he gets the nice things introduced slowly.

Not sure the beef is as polarised as people think. He was out in the States doing his thing with the manager and squad. He’s now playing for a new deal, somewhere.

Is there truth in the self isolating thing, who knows could be as there was a gang.

Totally get worshipping a Lukaku or even a Richarlison but a bloke who's played less than half a season here, not been totally committed / a team player and who the side has a better win percentage when said player isn't on the pitch is bewildering.

I would hazard a guess that Benitez will do more for the club than James Rodriguez will.

One will still be around when we move into BMD for one, the other will be playing COD in the MLS come next season.

Well Benitez has the squad fighting for one another and YOU as a clubs supporter.

Rodriguez doesn't even know who YOUR club was playing against as he was too busy playing Xbox Live rather than training hard to try convince the manager to want to keep him.

Anyone backing James over the clubs manager is a fool especially when he'll be on the first flight out of here either 1st January or 1st July.

I think James will be mainly on the bench but hopefully get some playing time. Can see them trying to shift him again in January. Would love him to be involved regularly but just don’t think Benitez will climb down.
