I imagine if James is on around £140-200k a week we were likely expecting Diaz/replacement to come in on around £70-90k a week and have the rest in savings off the books.
Yeah that’s fine mate, if we’d got it done no
Issues

but we didn’t did we so all we’re doing is leaving ourselves short until
January, trying to cobble through

I cant see him leaving until January at the earliest tbh mate no one is paying his wages least of all some tinpot outfit from a poor league.

Would personally keep Rodriguez until January where we can at least bring in a replacement but I wouldn't say we were desperate mate.

Benitez's job this season based on a £1.5m spend is to guarantee PL survival - if he does that it's mission complete until we can invest/spend next summer.

I think the manager will have us in the top 10 with or without James providing we get fortunate with injuries.
Fellas are so desperate for the Kopite to succeed they have now lowered the bar to the lowest it's ever been. You can see the set up coming a mile away, he was only meant to keep us in the division but got us 12th, give him a life time contract

Thats the reality though mate - finishing say 13th is unacceptable in the fans eyes but the owners ain't sacking and paying him off 12 months into a contract after not being able to back him in the market.

Fans need to be patient until next summer at the earliest which is when we can likely spend and truly rebuild the squad.

Dont let a good start to the season fool you this is the same group of players that have finished 10th and 12th in the last two seasons under the supposed best manager of all time.

Anything above 10th and he'll have done a boss job all things considered.

I can’t see him going to Turkey, he would be much better staying at Everton and trying to get into the team. He would have a higher profile and a better chance of getting a good deal in January or next summer. Even if he has to sit on the bench and run down his contract he can then negotiate a big sign on fee and a lower wage at another club. Either way he is going to prosper.
I suppose it all depends on how much he wants to play and how important getting back into the Colombian team is to him. Personally I would keep him rather than have him play for someone else and pay 60% of his wages.

That will be Everton paying the wages and no loan fee.
Of most of his wages...anyhow no chance rodriguez would accept a loan to Turkey unless its one of the big boys and even then I am not so sure...we haven't got a replacement in, so we need him to cover for injuries, suspensions etc until at least January.

There won't be any big spends next summer if you actually look at our finances properly, yes a few more off the wages bill but if you are expecting a big spend then don't mate. Any cash injection will be for the stadium not for players, the only way is going to be sell a Richy or DCL first.

See that, that's when the problems start x
