Apparently he was misquoted, he was talking about Everton the player ? if that's true then I wouldn't blame him for not wanting to play for such a highly strung fanbase haha

Whether that's true or not, we are the most highly strung fanbase going.

We are honestly impossible to appease.

We want amazing players who give everything for the shirt, but then we get riled when our better players have off games or injuries or bad runs of form or suggest they may see the next step in their career away from Everton.

We hate when our club spunks massive money on tosh, but when that tosh has one good game, it'll be 'there's a place for him here lad' or some div puts some 'Iwobinho' gif on Twitter because he made one good pass.

We turn on everything as soon as we can. We want it all now but also think we should build something - I'm as guilty as anything.

We scream about players having to respect the club and all that but then we show no respect back. Richarlison had his first bad patch of form for us last season, in a season with no fans in the ground, which he thrives off, and games every three days when they were all clearly knackered, and we had fans saying 'not arsed him lad, get rid now, we'll not even get £40m for him'

We then, in our first home game back after 18 months, have a section of fans - grown adults, with children - singing a song about how we'll celebrate when Ancelotti dies.

I remember when we appointed Ancelotti, Moshiri said 'this is the impossible job'

He was right.

Yes about 1965 but :

The honour of being the first substitute in top class football was accorded to Richard Gottinger, who came on for West Germany in their 3-0 victory over Saarland in Stuttgart on 11 October 1953. West Germany qualified for that World Cup and went on to win it – the first of their world titles – but those 37 minutes were to be Gottinger’s only involvement. He never played for his

Oh.

Not like the Daily Mail to have a pop at a foreigner is it?

There is zero in that either. Exactly the same comments as have been said on twitter and here. Spreads like wildfire this stuff with absolutely nothing to back it up.

You've spent the last few pages saying it's only really here there's any mention of it.

Nope.

Here's another;
