I’ve defended him and wanted him to stay but if he’s openly showing an attitude and disrespect towards us on his Twitch stream then he should go. Everyone knows how good of a footballer he is but that doesn’t give anyone the excuse to be a knob and disrespect the club you’re under contract with paying your wages every week.
Looking from a PR point of view this could turn into a great thing for Benitez, identify an issue very early on and get rid of a player who couldn’t be relied on and thought he was bigger than the team despite his popularity. Shows a strength in management.

Because it's a fading international superstar, still very good but definitely living off past glories you have people defending him.

Adios asshole. I can see why he annoyed Colombia in the summer if that's his attitude coming through.
As much as I adore his talent, this just shows a poor attitude that cannot be accepted. I don't care if Ancelotti leaving or Benitez coming caused it, he's a highly paid professional who knows his way about social media and has no excuses for this.

Where there is smoke, there is usually a fire. Sometimes there is even more fire than the smoke indicates. Based on what I have read about JR, and what has been implied between the lines, there is little to suggest that JR is a true professional. It's not just Benitez of the managers he's had that JR has had problems with. I also think it's no coincidence that JR is constantly injured, and rarely matchfit. Such a player is toxic in a performance group.

No professionalism at all. Clearly he could not care less. It is now pretty obvious that Rafael has seen him putting zero effort in during the initial training sessions and has quite rightly told him we don't need someone who doesn't care at the club.
