Good passing range as well.

There are plenty of "he can't pass a ball" comments that people made before he signed that I'm waiting to vault at some point this season.

It would extremely foolish to try and build a defence around someone who cannot stay fit. We didn't have a settled defence at any point last year and it makes a huge difference.

The defence is built around Tarkowski.
We don't know yet if Mina will even be with us when the window closes but if he is then when fit he will start with Tarkowski and I think Godfrey will the third.
If it is a back four then Tarkowski/Mina or Tarkowski/Godfrey.

Good passing, but the way he lost the ball right outside our box didnt exactly fill me with confidence. Hopefully a hickup in preseason and not a sign of whats to come.

I think that's wishful thinking and a pretty bad idea to be honest. Mina should be top of the list to be sold this summer so he doesn't leave for free.

Godfrey is by far the weakest of our centre halves so I wouldn't even be considering him as a first choice. You can't play centre half in this league if you can't win a header.

If this is true, and we really are struggling to buy players, I would seriously consider converting him to a DM...

He can tackle, he can pass the ball forward 5 metres, and he is quick and no need to head a ball too often...get into a ball playing midfielder and that person can do the Defence splitting passes...hopefully Frank can teach him to read the game and we could save ourselves a shedload of money.
