Even tarks with his wolverine like healing factor and immaculate fitness couldn't evade the punishing effects of gaffer day. Unless he got injured from too much snagging which hey some part of his life should be enjoyable

I'm a bit concerned with his fitness personally. There's been times over these last two games where he's been a good yard off his man.

If he's carrying an injury, then we should probably be giving him a little bit of time out of the side now. I'm fully aware that the alternative at the moment is Michael Keane, but needs must and it's still very early in the season..

Just have to hope it isn't age catching up with him. A big drop off from Tarkowski and Brainthwaite being sold would ruin us.

Tarkowski isn’t fully fit by the looks of it, I’m not worried about him at all. Think having Keane next to him also unsettles him. Need jarred back after the internationals, and myko to get fully fit also.

I think he could have played, but surely wasn't 100% fit. Wise decision to give a break to have him fit for a very important game.
