I just don't think Martinez has brought through any youth player from the academy to justify this reputation he has on this fourm for bringing academy players through. because he you know, hasn't.

I dunno really. I feel like the door to the first team is open more to youth players and Martinez is keen to make use of some Of the lads Coming through.

martinez did play hibbert in the derby Browning only got on because hibbert started getting done by stearling and he did play hibbert over Garbutt in the west ham match massively out of position. They have had opportunities this season but I feel like they(especially Browning) could of had alot more.

Sorry, disagree with your conclusion that they got their chances due to injuries/suspensions and thought I had provided data to back that up? Also not quite sure why you are entirely dismissing martinez's use of Barkley given Moyes/Hodgson haven't shown anywhere near the desire to start him. Doesn't mean I entirely agree with all of Martinez's choices but think he's got the bulk of them right and given more opportunites to youth than most equivalent managers.

But this is the transfer thread so don't want to go off topic anymore so lets agree to disagree.

Well it's about a million times more then moyes ill give you that. In the future I think he will use the academy to good effect but as I said as of right now this reputation everton fans have gave him seems unfounded as far as academy player goes.

anyway I really have enjoyed this discussion and have found everyone's opinions pretty interesting, but I feel this particular discussion is off topic and totally derailed this thread so it's the last ill be saying about this.

so who we looking at then?
