Couple of questions:

1) Why pay £5m for Shelvey? Why not offer £3m - £4m to Villa for Delph instead? Better player.

2) Re the repeated shouts for Van Dijk and Kjaer: Whilst I like the look of both of them, would they not both be cup-tied for our EL fixtures?

3) What do we think about pairing up Taylor Swift to play alongside Bieber?

Shelvey is the more talented player plus plays slightly further forward which would allow Ross to drop back if McCarthy is sold. The more I think about it, it's not that stupid an idea plus would probably make us a net 15m allowing us to buy a quality winger or even CB/GK.

The problem with both Besic, Barry and McCarthy is there's no goals in them and teams have learnt that all they have to do is stop our fullbacks. Shelvey and Ross in a midfield 3 gives us a potent attack and Besic works best as the furthest back in a midfield 3.

Shelvey would be ok with me but we need jimmy mac

Awful?

Go on I'll give you the chance to justify that statement.

Krasnodar went for a walkabout and turned his back, one of the word bits of goalkeeping I've ever seen. He also went for a walkabout in the second half.

Newcastle he flapped at a ball on the buildup of the second goal for Newcastle when he should have caught it.

Hull, he must have been singing the clash song " Should I stay or should I go " as Jelavic broke through with his electric lightning pace and the clown Robles attempted to put him off by dropping to his knees to nosh him off.

If shelvey is bought in to replace Mccarthy then I'm off. 37 years of supporting Everton through thick and thin but that would be just ridiculous. It would be a shocking statement of small time attitude from the club, particularly if he were to move to spurs.

Spot on. Shelvey is a poor choice for any club with European ambitions.

Osman and Piennar can't tackle, so don't work as CMs. Gibson is never fit so doesn't work as a footballer. Ledson could quite easily be the only one of those four still employed by the club as a player come next September.

I remember Osman 'not working' as a cm in Moyes' last season which included some great football with Osman and Gibson playing centre mid. Osman even carried Neville for large parts of the season including a home derby where we were 2 down to a Liverpool side with Suarez and we then battered them to get back to 2-2.

Most of the games Osman has played in this season we haven't lost. He would be a better option than any of the clowns we currently have playing centre mid. Least he can keep possession, pick a pass and get into goal scoring positions, traits currently beyond most of Martinez's favourites. If they were fitI'd have Osman Gibson and Pienaar (those players everupne keeps blaming gor our slump despite playing no part in it) straight back into the team. They proved season after season that they were top 8 players. Not bottom 3 like some of the current first team.
