Team player though. powerful when on the ball and can make things happen where barkely would go for the spectacular and osman would go for the 'give the ball away'


We need cover in the squad its as simple as that. We have 2 fit central defenders and one of the injured has spent most of his late career injured. what happens if Distin or jags pulls up next week?

I think we need more versitility as well in the squad. the likes of osman and naismith dont cut it, we need players who can interchange on the pitch comfortably, eg left into middle, right into left etc gives the other team problems on covering ground if they dont know who to mark.
 
Dembele is able to cover all 3 positions we need help in centerslly and where pienaar plays - he isn't spectacular in what he does but he is powerful and effective
 

I'd honestly look at someone like Ikechi Anya, looks very good when i'v watched him play. 26 Scottish national, Plays on the left, Quick, can use both feet and has a cracking shot on him.
