Can't see Nastasic happening unless City buy another centre half in January, they only have 4 of them with first team exp, Nastasic being one. I do agree though would be a good signing even if for 6 months but can't see it happening.

I am going to post this, I know it's not about buying a player but it's even more important. The last few years has seen the huge European clubs buying Galactico strikers for huge money and somewhat neglecting their defences, this is now coming home to roost, Utd need 3 defenders arsenal 1 and John Terry is not getting any younger at Chelsea, that's without mentioning PSG and Barcelona who have a crisis with Gerard Pique. John Stones will be at the top of every single one of those clubs this January shopping list and the have blank cheques. Martinez say's no player at this club will be sold except for footballing matters. I wonder if RM will stretch his injury out an extra month or so. ?

Pretty sure Sociadad paid Arsenal to have that clause removed last summer, I remember something about them getting £10m I think it was for Vela and Fabregas's sell on clause.

Well, two players come to my mind who are players we could possibly get and are wingers and could improve us: Podolski and Shaqiri. Yet, I have a faint feeling that neither of them would be willing to come here. I know from Bayern that Shaqiri regards himself much higher than the player he actually is and Podolski's wages are probably too high compared to the standards here.

So there you go, I basically argued why they won't come.

He does'nt play much at Bayern though and when he does he's absolutely atrocious this season. He wants to leave because he thinks he's so good, but no way will another big club want him. Definitely not a top 5 club like Bayern.
