More and more convinced that the winger situation will be left til the summer and Bobby will go with Atsu coming back from the afcon. Will be just looking at GKs and CBs this window I reckon.

Id be disapointed but we arent creating and we are letting them in far too easy.

Id take one of them stopping this season if only one
 

Personally defence > attack in this window.

I'd rather us get a ton of 1-0 wins than a few heart-attack inducing 5-3 wins. We have enough quality to score goals even if it's not by many but getting clean sheets seems impossible at the minute.

I don't mind, makes sense in the long term. Seems like a decent compromise. Only thing is, I'd be surprised if we bought two players as opposed to using the loan market...and the GK would be the one that gets bought. Which begs the question, is it worth loaning a CB and are there even any decent ones available on loan?

Priorities for me:

1. GK
2. Winger
3. Centre back

If we don't get a centre back in then we have to make sure we keep Stones fit and if push comes to shove hopefully Galloway or Browning will be able to make the step up.

We're absolutely crying out for another winger though, unless you're gonna play Garbutt/Baines/Oviedo on the left wing.

2x GK
4x CB
3x FB
2x CDM
2x CAM
3x ST
2x W

May not be the most important position long term, but has to be the most important position this window.
 
Karius & Kjaer are my dream signings for this window. Will we get them? No will we balls - we've not even been properly linked with either, but this is the jarg gossip thread of the century and I'll spout all the names I want for my FIFA Career Mode wishlist. Just watch me go sign them both for a combined fee of Arouna Koné + £4.3m then we'll be laughing.

Let's face is - Shaqiri couldn't do it on a cold, windy Tuesday away to Stoke so we can bin him and let him play there every other week.
 

i have got a feeling we wont get anyone in, till the next couple of games are over, if we are still playing crap, kenwright might be holding back for the new boss to spend.
