The fact that Marshall is their captain bodes well. He must be somewhat of a leader, exactly what we need in goal, someone who commands their box and the defence.

if this winger stuff comes to fruitition i'd rather it be for a winger much more in their prime like perisic, and then get someone young and exciting like delafeou in the summer.

also i'd quite like us to get romero AND another keeper, seeing as romero's available at only 500k. flog off howard and send out robles on loan for a few years, see if he can cut the grade somewhere else first.

and then get two CB's in the summer.

Is it just me who doesn't want us to splash out on Geri if we're gonna be getting a winger? Yeh he was exciting last season but sooo inconsistent and not in the physical shape for a full PL season yet. Personally be a bit disappointed.

He's put on a lot of muscle this season. Physically he's fine for our league. I would be wind-milling if we got him.

Seriously though, I can understand your worries, however I personally would see him in front of McGeady, Atsu and Pienaar straight away "should" he come back - which obviously remains to be seen. What has happened with Pienaar by the way?

Sevilla aren't playing him and Barca have the ability to recall him. I'm not saying we'll get him for a number of reasons not least Barca's transfer ban.

There's an info graphic with the Barca current squad in all positions doing the rounds, seems pretty "professional" in its creation. Has the likes of Munir, Adama etc all on it but Deulofeu isn't for some reason. And I don't think its because he's not loaned out as it has lengths of contracts on it - think it was created to highlight that they'll be fine despite the transfer ban.

Edit: Can I find it anywhere now, can I bollox !

I couldn't care less if we sold Eto'o. I'm sorry I know that isn't a popular opinion but I think Kone offers us more as a backup striker and personally I think Eto'o is rubbish as a No10.

If we could get a fee for him then quite frankly brilliant even if we don't get a fee and can bring in another winger I would be fine with it.

This. Was average at best on Tuesday. I'm certain Kone would have offered more

Depay is miles better than Geri and scores a butt-load of goals. Not sure he'd come to us but it'd be a bit of a dream signing if he did.
